Record Highs. Cold Blast. Very Low Storm Risk

Here’s how it all plays out…

– Tue 9am to Tue 9pm: Very warm and windy, we’ll likely break high temperature records by 3 or 4pm. Winds will gust to near 45mph creating a very high brush fire danger.

– Tue 10pm to Wed 8am: The powerful cold front clears the area with a HUGE drop in temperatures. Get ready for this… highs will only be in the 40s to near 50º on Wednesday. This is a 30-40º drop in a very short amount of time.

– Wednesday Noon to 5pm: Wind chill values in the teens and 20s with a limited chance for flurries or light snow in NW Arkansas.

Beyond this event… our next rain chance will be on Thursday morning with moisture returning from the south.
