Highs over the weekend were pushed into the 70s and 80s and this trend will continue into Tuesday ahead of the cold front.
Expect the records to fall around 4/5pm. We probably break the record in NW Arkansas and tie the record in Fort Smith. Winds will be strong out of the south today.
Expect a high brush fire danger and gusts to near 30mph.
The front arrives Tuesday night. Timing looks like 9pm-1am but more than likely around 11pm.
Severe risk is present but lower than it looked last week; higher chances in NE Arkansas and SE Missouri up into the midwest.
Wednesday will be COLD!!! Some of us may still be in the 30s by afternoon. The rest of the week looks great with temperatures closer to what you would expect with highs in the 50s.
Have a great week!!!
