☔️ While a severe weather risk exists for the next several days, the big story is going to be heavy rain.
Seems like we get all this stuff at once doesn’t it?
Flash flooding will be an issue with repeated rounds of rain over the next few days.
I know the tornado/storms threat has been talked up a lot. Just remember that flash flooding is the # 1 cause of fatalities when all other weather events are taken into account.
This on-and-off rain will continue into the weekend and yes, we need the rain, but it’s a bummer when we a get a months worth one a few days. A lot of this will runoff with the dry ground and won’t soak in at first.

We’ll catch a break by Friday. Thankfully, none of these days seem as bad as yesterday was for the Mississippi River Valley and NE Arkansas.
Yes. We NEED the rain, it’s just a bummer it’s all happening at once 😕 watch out for flash flooding guys.
