Morning storms may be severe with both wind and hail the primary threat.
Afternoon storms that develop around 3/4pm will pose a higher end severe risk and tornado threat. This is the dark red shading you see on the map.
The severe risk ends later tonight as storms shift east.
Additional rain is expected tonight into Saturday and as the system finally moves east on Sunday, rain may mix with snow across the Ozarks with little to no accumulation expected.
