Well, this makes sense for Arkansas weather.
#1: VERY WINDY!!
– Winds Thursday could gust up to 40mph as high temperatures get pushed into the 70s today. Winds are out of the south which is the reason it’ll be so warm.
– One more thing to note today, the grass is still dead and with wind like this, there’s a chance of brush fires.
#2: SNOW MONDAY?
– So this front arrives over the weekend. There’s a chance some light rain could change to light snow; mainly in NW Arkansas. The computer model data always overestimates snow; plus, most of it will melt since it’s been so warm. Pay more attention to the snow footprint. I feel like this geographical area is the most favored location for seeing flakes flying on Monday morning.
– There’s at least a low end chance for travel issues but it’s not as high as it was last month.
