What’s next…
➡️ Simulated radar shows Friday at 11am; scattered showers will be roaming about. No severe weather risk.
➡️ Late Saturday into Sunday. The yellow color Saturday shows the favored location for severe weather in Kansas and Oklahoma
➡️⚠️ Sunday is the day to watch. March systems have a tendency to move faster than models indicate due to excessive wind shear.
As of this morning, I would expect storms to develop on top of western Arkansas Sunday afternoon with a severe risk. These storms move east and really ramp up in eastern Arkansas and the Mississippi River Valley. Severe window for western Arkansas closes quick but it is open for a few hours on Sunday afternoon. At least the risk is daytime instead of the overnight!

Thank you, Garrett, for making it better to understand for me. You’ve always done that. I had a hard time trying to figure what was coming to my area directly from the tv news. But this map helps! Thank you for still taking care of us!
