It’s Gonna Rain…

🌩️ Active pattern to wrap up the workweek…

An upper low is chugging across the southwest and moves closest to Arkansas on Thursday. Expect widespread showers to break out Wednesday night and continue until at least early Friday morning.

Rain totals will be a soaker with this one; somewhere in the 1-2” range on average.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a severe weather map. There will be a chance for thunderstorms with this one but the severe weather risk should be held to south Arkansas at best.

It doesn’t get cold behind this front. Matter of fact, we’re ABOVE normal this weekend with comfortable highs in the mid to upper 60s with sunshine.

Next stronger cold front seems to arrive early next week.
