The next widespread round of rain is set to arrive over the next two day. First, a broken line of scattered showers and thunderstorms will move into the area around this evening. Since it’s scattered, not everyone will get rain out of this. The timing would be more focused on the evening or the drive home.
A better chance for rain that everyone gets will be on Friday with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely across the entire area. It should be raining from the mid-morning hours into the early afternoon and rain could be heavy at times.
Rain totals over the next two days will be in the 1-2″ range. Chances for rain go back down over the weekend but never really return to zero for the next week as the unsettled pattern rolls into June.
While the severe risk does increase some for Thursday night and Friday, it remains low. Certainly much much lower than last week.
