Morning lows on Sunday were near freezing across much of OZ. The coldest low temperature was in Fayetteville due to the valley. No freezing temperatures are forecast for the next week.
This is the surface chart for Sunday afternoon on March 10th. This high is directly overhead which will lead to fantastic weather across the Natural State with highs in the 60s and full sunshine. A terrific spring day!
There’s a shortwave that moves through on Monday but doesn’t have anything to work with for instability or moisture. At this point I would expect a small increase in clouds but little else.
Here’s Tuesday’s system which is arriving from across Kansas. This once could generate some severe weather.
The National Weather Service is already following the severe weather risk on Tuesday night which will follow the path of that trough across Kansas so mostly NE Oklahoma but also into OZ, too.
This is the next big one. The trough will move into our area on Thursday and Friday. The severe weather risk should be present with this. Timing and details still TBD but the upper level support and instability will be there.

I deleted my local app as soon as I downloaded Oz weather.
I really like what you have going on here and will share and tell all!
Good luck, I also think it’s Oz Some!
Thanks!!! There’s still some things I’d like add and revamp but I thought this would work to get it off the ground and get started. I still use The Weather Channel App for warnings and watches. Down the road I’d like to add those too
