The surface chart early on Saturday shows high pressure to our northwest and the cold front to our south. The high pressure spins clockwise with breezy northwest winds across OZ with colder than normal temperatures.

These are forecast high temperatures for Saturday. Notice that it’ll be challenging to break 40 across north OZ while south OZ barely climbs above 40 in Fort Smith. Sunday will be warmer with 50s to near 60 and then next week is warmer still… highs will be in the low to mid 70s.

The forecast trend for the next week will be a steady increase in temperatures. Highs may even get pushed into the 70s to near 80 farther south on Wednesday.

Our next rain chance is trending towards Thursday of the upcoming week. After that… we may have a higher risk of thunderstorms towards the end of the month on the 28th/29th of February.

Love it Garrett!!! We miss you on the tele, but this is great. Weather in the land of OZ with our favorite weather guy.
Thanks Janice!!!
Love that you are doing this. 5 weather has never been the same since you left. Now Matt is gone, so one one left. I feel safer now that spring is around the corner.
Thanks bunches Garrett, I’m loving your app. And, seeing you there for us. Have a great, and blessed weekend. ~Anne from Alma

In your educated opinion do you think we will have more snow and really cold weather this year?
As far as very very cold goes… I think that’s over. The snow tho? Usually, as we get closer to spring, we have more moisture so a late season heavy wet snow is still a possibility but there’s not much out there for the next few weeks
