An area of low pressure continues to move across the area this weekend. The result has been persistent light to moderate rainfall. Additional rain totals will be near .25″
You can see the area of low pressure with the counter clockwise surface winds forming on the upper end of the trough. If you look to the southwest, you’ll see a stronger area of low pressure. The entire systems is essentially elongating over us which is the reason for the persistent rain.
The low pressure is swept east early in the week with sunny skies returning.
